The Beauty In Ugly
Symmetry may be important in defining beauty because it is evident that the person or object is healthy and without visible genetic defects, which are commonly associated with ugliness. Although style and fashion vary widely, research indicates that there are a variety of commonalities in people’s perception of beauty and ugliness.
There is good evidence that a preference for beauty and an inherent aloofness for that which is considered ugly emerges early in child development. The standards of attractiveness and ugliness are similar across different cultures.
There are some who are just born beautiful, while some make themselves beautiful via synthetic applicationsmade available at the beauty salons. Beauty salons basically enhance the physical attributes of their clients and ensure that the effort is appreciated by others.
Beauty can further be enhanced with the use of enhancement applications for the physical attributes. Some of the products that are commonly used to enhance physical beauty include make up, foundations and skin toners, concealers and powders. Nothing is impossible today, with the dedicated myriad of beauty products available at stores and even online.
Beauty, physical or mental, can be enhanced by a number of induced techniques and products introduced in the market. There are a number of online and offline resources dedicated to the approach. Ugliness, like beauty is an abstract concept and what appeals to one, does not necessarily have to appeal to another.
The concept of beauty changes from person to person. What appeals to one, does not necessarily appeal to another. While some consider it skin deep, some believe that it is ‘inner’ and ‘of the soul’. The concept of beauty care is basically the ‘adding to the quality of beauty’ that is inherent within every thing. Everything includes all that is animate and inanimate. The beauty care industry caters to the overall appearance and beauty present in an object or person.
The beauty enhanced this way gives intense and deep pleasure and a sense of satisfaction to the mind. This inherent feeling and the resultant appreciation arises either from the sensory manifestations like specific shape or vibrancy of color. Wihtin this dedicated industry, there is no ‘ugly’.
