Skin care is extremely important for people of all ages. People need to take care of their skin in all the seasons. Fragrance is one of the main ingredients which has been used since long in various ways to enhance the effect of skin care products. They have helped in increasing the popularity of the products as well as giving a new dimension to skin care.

Various lotions such as milk bath lotions etc are used which have added fragrance. These are used extensively in skin care. As skin care and fragrance have been long related, today almost all the skin care products available in the market have fragrance added to them. These products are meant for all types of skins such as normal, oily, dry, and sensitive as well as combination types. Moisturizers are used to prevent the moisture from leaving the skin. These moisturizers contain fragrance which makes a person feel and smell good. The fragrance is mainly added so that a person smells good when he or she applies the product. This works along with providing skin care.

In addition to body lotions, soaps, body washes, sun screens, face washes, deodorants, gels etc are also used for skin care. Now, even organic products are used for skin care. It consists of natural ingredients such as avocado, aloe vera, or safflower oil, tomatoes, bananas etc. Soaps are used for cleaning body as well as for smelling fresh and good. Various soaps include fragrances such as neem, tulsi, sandalwood, rose, jasmine, cherry, aloe vera, cinnamon, cucumber, maple, chocolate etc which are added so that itchy skin, tension, viruses and bacteria, lethargy as well as infections can be avoided. Also, they are used for scrubbing, moisturizing, hydrating, cooling and softening of skin. Thus skin care is ensured.

Body lotions having fragrance can be used for a romantic effect along with the basic function of moisturizing. Body lotions which contain essential oils can be used at night for a soothing and relaxing effect. It is not at all necessary that only perfumes are used for a good fragrance. Properly selected body lotion with fragrance can also provide the same effect. They are available in different fragrances such as lemon, lavender etc. Fragrant liquid hand washes are also available which are manufactured especially for skin care.

Aromatherapy, since long has been used to cure many problems. Few of the products in aromatherapy include body lotions, essential oils, and various other oils such as almond oil etc. The aromatherapy products contain essential oils which help restore the natural skin texture along with a relaxing effect provided by the fragrances. The various fragrances available are coconut, jasmine, lilac, musk and many more.

Fragrances are also added to make-up products. Lipsticks, rouges, eye shadows etc contain different fragrances to feel and smell good. These products are especially designed fragrant products which also help in skin care as they have moisturizers in it.

Today there are a variety of fragrant products which are used for skin care. Any person can choose any product based on his or her skin type. These products are used mainly to improve one’s image. The fragrant make-ups, skin care products such as fragrant face creams and lotions are becoming a status symbol now. Hence, as more and more people are opting for these products, their demand and popularity has risen to a great height.
