Use of Makeup primer

Makeup primer is an airy and lightweight gel cream preparation, which is applied to obtain a protective base coat for smooth and long lasting makeup. It can be used for all skin types. It comforts and pampers the skin. The pores are de-accentuated. It is safe to use on sensitive skins. It causes the skin to be translucent and healthy. Some Makeup primers are clear white others are tinted. These tinted one can be used to hide skin flaws. For example, to balance redness a green tint can be chosen. Usually, a tint that matches the skin tone is chosen. If after application of the foundation the skin becomes flaky, this condition is avoided by use of the makeup primer. Initially, the face must be cleansed and a moisturizer should be applied. Some time must be provided for the moisturizer to get absorbed. Then the makeup primer is applied. After it sets properly, the foundation is applied. Now the makeup can be done. The makeup finds something it should clutch to and hence is retained for more time.

Natural botanicals help to minimize redness and inflammation. They nourish the skin and enhance hydration. Silicone is non poisonous and fills in the fine lines on the face. The Honey extract offers cleansing and moisturizing properties. Ginkgo Biloba extract provides protection from the sun, freedom from fundamental scavengers and is soothing. Coneflower is anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and possesses healing qualities. The Grape extract works as an anti-oxidant. The Green Tea extract has anti-oxidizing properties and frees the radical scavengers. Aloe Vera Gel provides a purifying, moisturizing and comforting effect. The Kiwi extract offers Vitamin C as well as moisturizing and anti-oxidizing effect. The Jasmine extract is used for calming and cleansing. It has antiseptic and healing properties. The Geranium extract along with the Jasmine extract provides scent. It is free of perfumes and oils and non-comedogenic.

Types of Makeup Primer

The Makeup Primer serves as a buffer between the skin and outside elements. This colorless gel causes the makeup to remain fresh and unaltered for the entire day. It is available in two formulae. One is designed to stop the shine of oily skin. The other is devised to provide a glow to normal to dry skin.
