There are a number of beauty salons that offer services virtually and guidance online. They strive to create an iconic image and to buy the cosmetic products. Beauty supplies not only promote the beauty from inside, but they also refer to the protection and nourishment of the skin, hair and nails and the overall body toning. You could also consider taking useful advice from the beauty professionals. However, there is nothing like attempting the age old, tried and tested homemade beauty tips.

It is much better if you can use home-made face-packs of simple fuller’s earth, glycerine and rose-water, instead of the ready-made, synthetic ones. The general trend today is that while the Orient is attracted towards make-up, the women of the Occident are getting more and more inclined towards using the herbal and natural therapy. Home made beauty products beautify, without affecting the skin adversely. Though the costly make-up bought from the market increases your beauty temporarily, you cannot deny the fact that the repeated use of the artificial means ends up drying the skin. Home-made face pack helps in providing natural oil and moisture to the skin. If you check your galley, you will be surprised to see that many of the ingredients of face-pack are part of your groceries and stacks. Some of the kitchen ingredients that you can experiment with for a rejuvenating face pack are glycerin, lemons, orange, garlic, papaya and eggs. You need to check for allergies and combine with a base like fuller’s earth.

You could also try the following:
1) Mix six teaspoons of petroleum jelly, two teaspoons of glycerin and two teaspoons of lemon juice. Apply this moisturizing lotion to your dry and flaky, arms and legs.

2) Peel and grate a cucumber and squeeze the juice and mix with half-a-teaspoon of glycerin and half-a-teaspoon of rose water. Apply this on sunburns, leave it for some time.

3) If you have cracked heels, you could melt paraffin wax and mix it with little mustard oil and apply it on the affected area. You should ideally leave it on overnight. After 10 or 15 days, your heels will become smooth.

4) Massage the feet with coconut oil and soak them warm water for some time. Wipe the water off the feet and once dry, apply a mixture of hibiscus flower, Henna and the juice of half a lemon. When dry, wash it off.
