Fragrance Stone

Scented stones are great way to enhance your home décor and long lasting alternative for traditional potpourri; now to fill your home with aroma you don’t have buy scented candles or tarts and their burners just get some fragrance stones and you are done.

Fragrance stones make very good alternative for scented candles as you have to constantly watch candle while it is burning then it will leave waxy trail; which you have to clean up afterwards. Even if you opt for some other types of air fresheners they can get expensive. Then why buy expensive product when you have cheap but beautiful alternative for you air fresheners.

Fragrance stone available in market are usually designed so as to give you clean fresh scent in your house without any risk as this fragrance stone does not require any kind of heat or fire. Just take out these stone from its packet place them in some decorative bowl. Some fragrance stones come with different oils; you just have put little amount of those oils on those stones mix them together and just place them where ever you want and enjoy their fresh fragrance.

You can even make these fragrance stones at home all you need is Plaster of Paris mix; some leaves or flower buds for decoration then fragrance oil or essential oil of your choice, some colors and if you want some specific shapes for stones then molds.

Mix Plaster of Paris mix with water, add some color, here you can use food color you want. Then add fragrance oil or essential oil then add all those herbs, leaves, petals or flower buds for decoration. Just pour the mixture into the molds. Plaster of Paris dries very soon; as it dries off take out your stones from the molds and your fragrance stones are ready. You can place these stones in your living room, on your dining table or even in your car.

Fragrance of these fragrance stones remain for at least 4-5 weeks. If fragrances of stones wear off just pours little fragrance oil and they are re-energized and ready to use again.
