Excessive Oily skin requires special type of treatment. If excessively oily skin and acne, treat the acne first and wait to address the appearance of oily skin. The excessively oily skin can be identified as follows:

Appearance:
1. Usually characterized by a skin thick;
2. Open pores;
3. Looks yellowish;
4. Sensitive;
5. Tendency to have acne.

Touch:
1. Greasy and wet
2. Thick and rough

Antibacterial Cleanser and Green Tea Poultice contain ingredients to remove oil and free fatty acids from skin. Ingredients in these products, such as zinc, cinnamon, green tea, etc. may reduce sebum production in some cases where excessive sebum production is the cause of excessively oily skin.

Oil Absorbing Gel will not reduce production of oil but it will absorb oil and give the skin an oil-free appearance. The product is made of synthetic molecules that are too big to penetrate into the skin. The product stays on the skin’s surface and absorbs oil. Oil Absorbing Gel will not clog follicles It will not promote acne, blackheads or whiteheads. It gives a matte finish look.

Exfoliation:

Exfoliation is a technique where the outer most layer of skin is removed. This exposes fresh and mostly living cells. The benefits of exfoliation include fresher, brighter looking skin, better penetration of active ingredients of skin care products and, for people with excessively oily skin, a degree of reduction in oil secretion. Common exfoliation methods include alpha and beta hydroxy acids, enzyme peels, and microdermabrasion. Beta-hydroxy acids, such as salicylic acid, are particularly effective in reducing excess oil production and are recommended for oily, acne-prone skin.

Essential Oils for very oily skin:

Aromatherapy can help to control oil production. Oils like Bergamot, Frankincense, Geranium, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Sage can be used.
Do not use Benzyl peroxide as it can cause premature skin aging, and increased skin cancer risks.
