Bride and groom tanning is a sure way to give them a fresh, new look. But before going for a spray tan, it is very important to consider some things, so that the special day is not ruined by a bad spray tan.

Precautions

It is imperative to make sure that a tanning solution has as little bronzer as possible, and the best one is totally clear. If a bronzer is used, a person will get brown stains on the inside of her wedding dress when she will sweat, especially in the places where the dress is tight. A person can dust her body with a baby powder to protect the dress. Then when she will sweat, most of the moisture and color will be absorbed by baby powder. Moreover, a dark tan does not look good with a white wedding dress. So it is better to have the lightest tan possible. It should be made sure that a person takes extra care with his hands and feet when spray-tanning. A barrier cream should be spread evenly over hands and feet, and in between the toes. One can put a barrier cream on his elbows and knees also. It is important to wipe hands, feet, nails, and knuckles with wet wipes, or with soap, after a spray tan.

Apart from bride and groom, it is a good idea that other members of a wedding party get a spray tan. It is very important to make sure to purchase a bottle of touch up solution, so that small imperfections may be repaired. And it is also useful for keeping the tan in good condition, not only for wedding, but also for honeymoon. It is recommended to have a spray tan 2 days before wedding as it takes 24 hours to develop fully. A spray tan solution is nothing but a cosmetic. It is always better to know that how it will react with one’s skin, and have a trial run. It is also important for a person to have his wedding tan in the same salon that his trial. Finally, if a person takes a photograph of him with his tan after trial, he will have an idea how his skin will look like on his wedding photos.
