Boxing Beauties
Boxing beauties brings to mind well toned bodies in a boxing ring. Yes, masculine as it may seem, women make a world of difference in the ring. They bring in the glamor and the sparkle. One of the very famous boxing beauties dedicated shows highlights physically attractive, but intellectually challenged women with the socially inept, so called genius men. They have to try to learn from each other. The women try learning about academics, while the men try to learn social skills from the women. Each pair is expected to share a room in a large castle, which is actually the set for the show.
The men and women take turns choosing partners and introducing themselves in gender-divided rooms. Once they are paired off, the teams work together to try and become proficient in unfamiliar academics. Their skills are tested in a series of competitions. The competitions are usually one for the men and one for the women. The winners of each competition are allowed to choose one team each and go to an elimination round. The team with the most points or the winner of a tiebreaker, if there is one, remains in the castle. The other team leaves immediately.
The idea behind the term boxing beauties is to highlight a standard of comparison, which can also be the cause of resentment and dissatisfaction when the designed intent is not achieved. Beauty has always inspired humans throughout history. However, too much emphasis on superficial beauty can undermine the inner person and ultimately lead to social inequity. Research reveals that good looking people do better than those with an ordinary appearance. Furthermore, how much money a person earns may also be influenced by physical beauty. One study revealed that people low in physical attractiveness actually earn less than ordinary looking people, who in turn earn less than those who are good looking.
Boxing beauties is a great way of melting the differences and ending the feud. Giving women the ability to enter the male domain, in a way, offers them a chance to be part of the rugged male world. There is a beauty in the activity, whether in the ring or on a reality show.
