Air Freshener Fragrance




Air fresheners are used to cover up the odor in the air. Fresheners give different fragrances in to the air. These air fresheners are in different types they may be aerosol, candles, potpourri and gels. Since antique time fragrances are used to refresh the room and to cover up the odor. Ancient Egyptians were using musk as well as some other materials as air fresheners. Even 2000 years ago, different compounds were used as air fresheners such as spices or floral extracts.

Until the year, around 1948 modern air fresheners were not introduced. The technology for air fresheners was introduced because of the military people. They need some compounds to give out the insects and therefore they made the insecticide that was the pressurized in a spray containing around 1% perfume, 24% alcohol and other solvents. This was helpful in spreading nice haze of the fragrance that sustained for long period of time. Therefore, this became standard format for the industries making sales grow enormously.

In addition, people found that it was beneficial to mask the odor of cigarette smoke, urine and fecal odors, cooking smells, as well as amine odors which fishy or pungent smells. Following this tradition nowadays, we are using different fragrances as air fresheners that are used in cars, room, and house.

Along with these fragrances, some of the Air Freshener is in the types of gel. Another form is fragrance is spread by lightening the aromatic candles and sticks. These are basically from the China and these fragrances are used to create the mood along with masking the odor in the room, car or houses.
